- As a key member of the ALEC & El-Saif (ESA) joint venture operations team, reporting to the HSE Manager, I hold responsibility for three zones (2, 6, and 7) and all testing and commissioning activities within mega-projects
- I play a critical role in resolving HSE issues related to health and safety, ensuring the delivery of committed results in accordance with schedule, targets, and HSE compliance standards
- Furthermore, I am responsible for overseeing multinational subcontractors engaged in testing and commissioning, ensuring their adherence to established HSE systems
- My major duties include:
- Vocal Person of all Testing & Commissioning Activities for MEP Work
- Being familiar with and providing legal advice to the construction team in order to facilitate compliance with local legislative requirements
- Overseeing the implementation and maintenance of the Company’s Environmental, Health & Safety Management System (EHSMS)
- Generating and updating a bespoke EHS Plan for the project, along with any supplementary plans that may be required
- Facilitating the Risk Assessment and MSRA review process on the Project
- Issuing a minimum of 3 Action Notices per Day
- Maintaining EHS records required by legislation
- Implementing and participating in a Site Inspection regimen to monitor compliance with legal and EHSMS requirements and implementing the Action Notice System to follow up and close out non-conformances
- Implementing the Dashboard Audits on the Project
- Participating in Project Meetings and providing input relating to EHS Management on the Project
- Submitting accurate monthly project EHS reports and statistics to Company Support Office
- Monitor and address Incident Trends on the Project
