●Preparation and review studies, research and legal advice.

● Provide legal advice regarding the contracts and the conditions contained therein and on the position of the Ministry on the agreements.

● Representing the Ministry with the competent committees.

● Take all necessary measures towards the judgments, decisions and orders issued in favor of or against the Ministry after their approval by the competent authorities and follow up their implementation.

● Participation in committees to examine companies offers.

● To provide and collect information, decisions and legal references required for research and studies in matters related to the work of the Ministry.

● Studying the legal documents that are being worked out in the Ministry and evaluating the need to amend them and submitting proposals for the development of performance .

● Follow-up of new Laws and regulations issued by the legislative bodies in the Kingdom .

● Provide advice on all legal matters within scope of legal matters with applicable statutes, rules and regulations while minimizing liability and highlighting risks .

● Review, negotiate and draft contracts within scope of legal specialty.

● Counsel management on the interpretation and application of contractual provisions to implement legal contracts.

● Evaluate external legal services providers and make recommendations.

● Recommend improvements to departmental policy and direct the implementation of procedures and control, covering all areas of Legal activity

● Respond to queries or requests from Government entities, Companies and Institutions.

● Supervising and developing the unit to carry out its tasks and responsibilities in the required manner.

● Advise executive and senior management with respect to compliance regulations, rules and standards.

● Participate in the organization of events to aware and educate employees on compliance policies and controls.

● Cooperate with the different departments of the Fund in reviewing their policies in accordance with the relevant regulations and regulations.

● Participate in reviewing policy and procedures manuals to ensure it’s complied with the compliance requirements.

● Review the reports, observations and recommendations of the regulatory authorities regarding the legal aspects and recommend what is required.

● Prepare and update periodically a guide for staff on compliance policies and norms.

● Receive complaints and communications related to compliance rules and policies and recommend appropriate action if necessary.

● Cooperation and coordination with the Human Resources Department regarding the proposal of training courses to ensure the efficiency and knowledge of employees with laws, regulations and rules related to compliance.

● Continuous monitoring compliance and testing by adequate sampling and reporting on quality and suitability.

● Cooperate and coordinate with the relevant departments regarding the implementation of the procedures and recommendations on combating money laundering, combating the financing of terrorism, combating corruption, etc.

● Participate in reviewing all current and proposed products to ensure that they meet the requirements of the Laws before being submitted for approval by the Board of Directors.

● Advising executive and senior management with regard to conflict of interest.

Supervising the work of the Legal Studies Unit and monitoring the performance of its employees and preparing the required performance reports.

● Participating with the working team in following up the preparation of studies and legal researches requested by the General Directorate or the Board of Directors of the Fund.

● Supervising the classification and classification of research, studies and legal opinions prepared by the Department.

● Studying the non-typical agreements concluded by the Fund with the borrowers and other financing institutions that participate in the financing and propose suitable amendments to them, in a manner that does not contradict with the Fund's contracts and policies.

● To provide and collect information, decisions and legal references required for research and studies in matters related to the work of the Fund.

● Studying the legal documents that are being worked out in the legal department and evaluating the need to amend them and submitting proposals for the development of performance.

● Prepare legal advice and propose appropriate recommendations and their justifications in the subjects presented by the Fund's management according to the administrative procedures followed.

● Study and prepare the requirements of the terms and provisions of the loan contracts and their annexes with amendments thereto in accordance with what is new to the laws and regulations issued by the competent authorities of amendments, additions or circulars.

● Participation in the evaluation of the performance of the employees of the Unit.

● Nominating the employees of the Unit for attending courses, conferences and promotions

● Preparation of training plans for the employees of the Unit in corporation with the department manager

● Participation in preparing the annual budget of the Unit

● Participation in committees formed within the Fund or within the administration.

● Follow-up of new Laws and regulations issued by the legislative bodies in the Kingdom.

● Participation in Litigation for the cases for or against the Fund.

● Review, negotiate and draft all contracts within scope of legal specialty.
