Before the orthopedic rotation, surgery was never a career I considered.

Yet, the more time I spent in orthopedics, the more I was drawn to it. I enjoyed the challenge of learning its complex concepts and developing the skills required, and for the first time, I could genuinely picture myself building a future in a surgical specialty. Outside of medicine, I enjoy football, e-sports, bodybuilding and traveling, activities that have taught me discipline, teamwork, adaptability and continuous self-improvement that I hope to bring to my orthopedic training and future practice.
