Job overview
- Led, managed, designed, and executed capital project namely "Replace Vessel Traffic Management System at Ras Tanura Port" (BI 10-07852). The project aimed to replace the Vessel Tracking Management System (VTMS) at Ras Tanura for four radar sites located in onshore and offshore areas. This project will replace the existing VTMS with an intelligent and integrated system, addressing obsolescence management and providing advanced capabilities to ensure safety and security of marine vessels, customer supertankers and Saudi Aramco staff and facilities in the Arabian Gulf region.
- Recognized as the best technical specialist by Aramco Chief Engineer and Specialist Development Program's board members.
- Developed 10-years IT master plan within Saudi Aramco.
- Managed cross-functional teams to establish new standards, procedures, and material specifications for Digital and Information Technology within Saudi Aramco.

- Delivered technical presentation at IR 4.0 and SAIL Centers, covering several emerging wireless and advanced space technologies to corporate management, government officials and external delegates including Aramco Board of Directors, His Highness (H. H.) Prince Sultan bin Khalid Al Saud, CEO of Saudi Industrial Development Fund (SIDF), and the Governor of Communication, Space and Technology Commission (CST).
- Recently, Led the engagement efforts with Qualcomm, aiming to accelerate the development of the industrial 5G, Edge AI IoT and Space ecosystems Kingdom wide. This collaboration led to the development of Edge Generative AI solutions for industrial environments which were piloted in Abqaiq Plants and were showcased at the Global AI Summit (GAIN Summit) in Riyadh in September 2024. The demonstrations covered On-Device Large Language Models (LLM), Autonomous Incident Response Drones, and Smart Surveillance Cameras. As a testimony on this successful collaboration, Saudi Aramco, in collaboration with Qualcomm, have been recognized with the international “IoT Innovator” Award organized by Compass Intelligence on the category of Edge Artificial Intelligence (AI) innovation. This recognition celebrates cutting-edge advancements in industrial generative AI for industrial sector.
