  • Oversees the set up and lead smooth running of all required project controls systems, tools and interfaces to allow successful management of project cost, schedule and risk reporting.
  • Managing, leading, and providing administrative and technical direction to staff of project controls professionals, interfacing with management, engineering, construction, contracts, and procurement, and driving innovative solutions to cost engineering and planning/scheduling problems with the intent to help execute the project efficiently and effectively.
  • Negotiate terms, conditions, and scope of contracts with clients, contractors, and subcontractors.

  • Manage contract variations, claims, and dispute resolutions in collaboration with the team.

  • Studying the Project Main Contract and Scope of work, engaging project stakeholders to develop fully resource loaded Project Master Critical Path Method (CPM) schedule qualifying DCMA and client schedule quality checks and gain its approval from client.
  • Ensuring effective maintenance of detailed Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) L-3 schedule using Critical path method (CPM).
  • Publish the summarized internal Weekly and Monthly Progress Reports for Operation Department which includes in-depth analysis about project delays, total float consumption, owner-ship of consumed total float, forecasted performance with recommended productivities and efficiency.
  • Monitor project schedule and cost performance using EVM tools i.e., SV, CV, CPI, SPI, TCPI & TSPI. Prepare schedule and budget forecasts.
  • Ensure the maintenance of both time and cost trend statistics.
  • Ensure that the detailed cash In-flow projections are done accurately and on a timely basis for Senior Management.
  • Establish the project invoicing system as per client procedure and supervise its implementation.
  • Ensure that a “gap analysis” of risks is done for major procurement and subcontract items.
  • Ensure that back-to-back guarantees and warranties are obtained from vendors and subcontractors and a log of the same is being kept.
  • Review Risk and Opportunity register on an ongoing basis to ensure they are adequately addressed in the project forecasts. Mitigate risks by closely monitoring probabilities of occurrence & impacts of threats and analogously, exploited the opportunities.
  • Co-ordination of final job statistics and analyze the effectiveness of practices and procedures for possible improvement on future projects.

  • Apart from numerous achievements in my current job role, which includes includes introduction and implementation of robust procedures and tools & techniques for projects monitoring & controls, one of the main achievement which i gained was successful in-house working, defending and winning the claim for Prolongation cost of SAR 10,400,000 associated with EOT in a project where i was representing main contractor and the client/owner was Saudi Aramco. The project title was: ASL Tank B Replacement at PS-3.
