As an HSE Engineer for HAMAT on the Masar Mall project, I was responsible for implementing and maintaining a high standard of Health, Safety, and Environmental performance in accordance with both HAMAT’s corporate HSE policies and the client’s high-level safety requirements.

- Developed and enforced the site-specific HSE plan, fully aligned with HAMAT’s corporate safety framework and the client’s high-level HSE requirements.

- Conducted daily site inspections and weekly HSE audits to identify and rectify potential hazards, ensuring continuous improvement in safety performance.

- Reported all HSE data, incident investigations, KPIs, and safety observations to the HAMAT Head Office, ensuring transparency and alignment with corporate safety objectives.

- Delivered HSE induction and regular toolbox talks for workforce and subcontractors to reinforce project-specific risks, safety protocols, and client expectations.

- Monitored compliance with the Permit-to-Work system, lifting plans, and confined space procedures in coordination with construction and MEP teams.

- Participated in coordination meetings with client HSE representatives to ensure full understanding of project requirements and respond proactively to any safety concerns raised.

- Supported the implementation of emergency response procedures and conducted periodic drills to ensure site preparedness.

- Maintain and apply knowledge of current health and safety policies, regulations, and industrial processes .

- Identify and correct potential hazards by inspecting facilities, machinery, and safety equipment.

- Attending the weekly follow-up meeting . Undertake various security related checks and correct the drawbacks.

- Make the employees knowledgeable about useful workplace safety tips.

- investigated accidents and implemented changes where needed resulting in a reduction in accidents and employees compensation costs. - Developed and delivered training in operating practices, risk assessment, and process safety improving company culture .

- Reviewing the submitted weekly reports, searching for repeated violations and finding alternative solution.
