hired from a co-op position to Waed GDP which gave me an opportunity to further develop my practical legal skills and help support Legal team's work.

My role covers:

• Legal Drafting & Writing: For aiding in drafting statement of claim, defense memos and other legal documents.
• Case Studies & Advisory: Doing legal research, researching on precedents and assisting lawyers with case advisory work.
• Litigation Support: Assist in preparing case files, arranging evidence and ensure documentation is ready for hearings
• Legal Research: Conducting legal research to support both case tactics and internal decisions.
• Team Collaboration: Partner with legal team on dispute resolution, compliance reviews and day to day work.
• Reviewed contracts and agreements for legal accuracy and potential risks.

• During my co-op training, I assisted the legal department with research and documentation, including:
• Managing files by archiving cases and maintaining legal documents in the company's internal systems.
• Reviewing legal studies and reports related to company
  projects.
• Analyzing closed cases to identify lessons learned and improve future practices.
• Providing administrative legal support and ensuring accurate record-keeping
