I am a servant leader with 25+ years of experience across healthcare, academia, administration, and strategic transformation. My journey has been defined by collaboration, advancing systems, and creating meaningful change. Inspired by Saudi Vision 2030, I have actively contributed to its programs since their inception, aligning my work with its transformative goals. Currently serving as General Secretary of the National Committee for Needs Assessment and Solutions and Senior Advisor to the Health Transformation Program. In these roles, I focus on identifying healthcare needs, developing sustainable solutions, and guiding strategic initiatives. My work includes conducting bed capacity management and budget optimization, recommending project prioritization for high-impact initiatives, and determining funding for medium- and long-term budgeting in capital expenditure planning. Additionally, national needs for beds have been determined until 2034, with the remaining gap identified along with expected budget requirements. For other asset classes—including workforce, private sector involvement, long-term care, mental health services, and EMS (Emergency Medical Services)—assessments are currently in progress. I specialize in healthcare systems advancement, with expertise in health insurance frameworks, private sector engagement, operational efficiency, and resource optimization. Key contributions include unifying health insurance across government entities through a single framework agreement, implementing Article 11 of the Cooperative Health Insurance Law to support healthcare sector revenue, and designing the “Capacity and Demand Methodology,” approved by the Saudi Health Council. I have also contributed to privatization projects like dialysis services, radiology, and Al-Ansar Hospital, and contributed to national frameworks for privatization and public-private partnerships (PPP). as well as drafting regulations for major organizations such as the Health Holding Company and the National Health Insurance Center. In academia, I led the establishment of the Master's Program in Health Administration, ensuring professional standards, accreditation, and recognition. I have reviewed spending efficiency guidelines for universities. My leadership journey began at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center, where I served as Associate Executive Director for Operations and Support Services, leading over 250 employees and unifying policies and procedures across the National Guard Health Affairs branches. I have had the honor of contributing to healthcare and education through research, advisory roles, and collaborations with esteemed organizations such as the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS). Additionally, I have actively served as a board member across multiple public and private organizations, striving to support impactful initiatives and sustainable development. My research contributions include the first scientific paper on health service financing in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and the first scientific paper on privatization and public-private partnerships in the Saudi context, in addition to numerous other scientific papers. As a result of my research contributions, I was honored by the Deputy Governor of Riyadh as the best faculty member published in high-impact scientific journals. I strongly believe in valuing and motivating employees, as it leads to the best outcomes. Therefore, one of my goals is to leverage my practices and experiences to foster organizational growth and create opportunities for investment and development. I possess diverse competencies and skills that span multiple disciplines, making a lasting impact on healthcare, education, and related sectors.
