Role

To supervise and control the civil, architectural and finishing works in the facility and ensures implementation of quality management system.

Key Accountabilities

• Ensures that structure is sound and that all buildings and publics facilities are well maintained according to company procedures and building codes.
• Ensure that all parts of facility are checked regularly for repairs and refurbishing, and that appropriate maintenance is affected.
• Liaise with General Services Supervisor and/or Unit Manager and notify areas needing special attention.
• Applied strong leadership talents and problem-solving skills to maintain team efficiency and organize workflows.
• Identified unsafe or unhealthful workplace conditions or hazards to enforce safe work practices and procedures.
• Maintained compliance with company policies, objectives and communication goals.
• Evaluate, follow up and coordinate with sub-contractors.
• Lead major repair, modifications and new works.
• Ensure that adequate stocks of supplies of routine maintenance materials are available.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing civil and building fabric teams & coordinate with other trades to ensure optimal delivery of services.
• Managing all the modification works thru sub-contractors and ensuring that is delivered within time and budget.
• Achieve and enhance customer satisfaction by meeting and /or exceeding the customer requirements, SLA’s, KPI’s.
• Ensure proper coordination among the team to achieve maximum customer satisfaction and productivity.
• Liaise with internal departments, shared services and maintain good working relations.
• Contribute to safe systems of work and the development of quality management system by ensuring all work practices comply with relevant safety standard.
• Ensure timely close out of HSE Action taken Reports, NCR’s
• Identify critical system, services, assets and ensure necessary contingency plan in place to avoid down time and disruption of services.
• Preparing Daily / Weekly / Monthly Facility Management reports
• Carryout daily site inspections to ensure quality of works and adherence to the set standards and provide expert advice to the team.
• Identify problems early and intervene appropriately to understand causes and collaboratively develop solutions, initiating remedial/improvement activity as required.
• Ensure timely close out of HSE Action taken Reports, NCR’s.
• Monitored execution of contract work for compliance with design plans and specifications.

• Managed and participated in on-site cutovers, testing and restoration of facilities.
• Managed quality assurance and laboratory testing for concreting operations.
• Inspected installation of precast structures, underground services, concrete and earthworks.
