I am working as a senior electrical design engineer at PETROJET EPC Project “Design and Build of Water Transmission System from OXAGON to GAYAL," NEOM City.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Design Lighting System {software calculation, wiring, control, etc.}.

· Design power system {sockets and appliances, wiring, etc.}.

· Making panel calculations {choosing circuit breaker, cables, etc.}.

· Design Motor Control Centers (MCC’s) {control, cables, feeder routing}.

· Design the sizes of cable trays and raceways.

· Prepare, review, and update design documents (drawings, calculations, and specifications).

· Prepare a design for cables, earthing, and lightning systems.

· Prepare the design for the sizing and characteristics of all electrical equipment (transformers, MV&LV switchgear, generators, DC battery chargers, AC UPS, and cables).

· Prepare single-line diagrams and logic diagrams.

· Proficient in ETAP, AutoCAD, DIALux, Ecodial, etc.

· Prepare power calculations (load flow, short circuit, motor starting).

· Prepare electrical design for substation plant layouts and water desalination plants.

· Ensure project specifications, standards, and process compliance.

· Knowledge of regulatory codes and standards (IEC, IEEE, NFPA, etc.).

· Preparation of the RFQ and the Bill of Quantity Materials BOQ.

· Preparation of technical specifications and material Requisitions.

· Preparation of the material submittal and review.

· Evaluate supplier offers according to project specifications.

· Supplier's coordination, comparison, and selections based on project specifications, quality, requirements, capability, and budget.

· Scheduling priorities for the submission based on the project timeline.

· Supporting other teams and coordinating with other trades.

· Design review and leading the design process.

· An ability to interpret engineering concepts into practical designs.

· An ability to both lead and work collaboratively in a team environment.

· Coordinate and liaise with other disciplines (e.g., civil, mechanical, I&C, etc.) to ensure proper, integrated, and clash-free design.

· Communicating with clients and consultants to discuss project details and clarify requirements.

• I worked as a lecturer for PLC and SCADA systems and was responsible for the technical support of all factories, the installation of automation devices, and automation training for PLC S7-300, S7-400, S7-1200, and S7-1500. I taught software programs: EKTS, Automation Studio, PLC programming with SIMATIC STEP-7 (TIA Portal), SIMATIC WinCC SCADA Systems, Wonderware Solutions AVEVA, Modicon PLCs Schneider Electric, WPLSOFT Delta PLC Simulation, Factory I/O, LogixPro 500 PLC Simulator, and others.

I worked as an electrical site engineer, responsible for:

• Supervising and executing all types of electrical works in projects like lighting, power, fire alarm, light current, etc.
