• Receiving work permits as required and ensuring all work is going under safety precautions as per permit requirements.
• Before starting to ensure the equipment is rendered safe work.
• Ensure all personnel working on the job are informed and fully aware of hazards and precautions that must be taken and maintained.
• Inspections of equipment and systems for defects.
• Check material inspection and review of material certificates, with valid calibration certificate.
• Stage-wise inspection and fabrication of gas duct, piping, structures, and installation of equipment.
• Review the applicable instruments for inspection with valid calibration certificate.
• Inspection of steel structure erection according to drawing.
• Inspection bolt tightening of steel structure joints with standard specification.
• Quality control supervision for in-process inspections to improve the quality and check the procedures.
• Trained and directed others on quality control matters for mechanical work.
• Marking of punch list and clearing before handing over the system.
• Dimensional & orientation check for process, plant structure, and gas duct as per approved drawing.
