• Supervises the technical procedures and review all lab results for any shift or trend and panic values, which include
• Biochemistry, Hematology, Immunology, Microbiology and Parasitology
• Supervises the Quality Control Procedures and documentation in regards to laboratory test in different Lab sections
• Supervises reagent supplies in reference to receipt shelf- life shortages and correct methods by technicians
• Supervises technical staff in calibration, maintenance, and operations of machines in different lab sections
• As a lab director:-
• Responsible for administrative supervisions and regulation within the department in accordance with hospital Policies and Procedures
• Providing effective leadership of the department and maintaining an appropriate quality plan using measurable performance improvement standards
• Primary responsibility includes planning, organizing and directing the overall operation of the laboratory Department
• Organize and follow quality as well as Infection Control
• Standers and guidelines
• Share and direct staff in Preparedness for “CBAHI” lab
• Accreditations
• Participate as a member of Medical Executive Committee,
• Quality and Patient Safety hospital committee as assigned.

• Head of Hematology and Pre-marital Department:
• Supervises the technical procedures and review and interpret the results for any shift, trend or panic values (Including Peripheral smears exam Interpretation.
• Hemoglobin Electrophoresis and Bone marrow Examination &Interpretation.
• Supervises the Quality Control Procedures and documentation in regards to laboratory test in hematology section
• Supervises technical staff in calibration, maintenance, and operations of machines in Hematology sections
• Communications with Medical Staff in regards to 1 ~ 2 ~ interpretation of laboratory results.
