As an engineering student and Mawhiba Alumni, my passion for learning has always been a driving force. I believe in applying the knowledge gained during courses to tackle real-world problems. With a strong focus on increasing academic levels, the goal is to contribute to the advancement of health devices and materials, ultimately benefiting humanity.
Research Title: Human Activity Recognition (HAR) Using LiDAR Sensors.
Identifying suspicious activities from indoor simulated environments using ML algorithms. Working under the supervision of Dr. Hakim Ghazzai, Dr. Charalampos Antoniadis, and Prof. Gianluca Setti.
Research Title: AI-driven EEG Technology For an Advanced Migraine Detection and Relief.
To Identify Migraines using EEG signals and ML algorithms by designing an accessible headband for individuals to detect and provide a relief simultaneously.
Periodic Preventive/Corrective Maintenance of the hospitals' medical devices. Intensive training on how to perform work orders, sales, and service operations.
Contributed to staff meetings, sharing progress reports and providing suggestions on potential operational improvements. Facilitated conflict resolution between students when necessary, promoting a harmonious living environment.
A problem-solving hackathon among all eastern province universities. we designed a device called LeakSpy: AI-based robot to detect chemical storage tank leaks, with localizing and blocking techniques.
Women in AI: Bioinformatics and Genomics BootCamp organized by the WTI division. One of the 20 accepted participants. It was 2 days of training by a team from the CBRC division about biomedical ontologies, and another team from SDAIA about using Git.
A team member with Prof. Robert Hoehndorf and Prof. Toshiaki Katayama (Database Centre-Japan) on DNA Sequencing by building a pan-genome for the Middle East region.
Mental health detection from social media (Twitter) during COVID-19 by applying Artificial Intelligence approaches such as text mining.
