• Ensure all work complies with: Saudi Building Code (SBC). International standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA, IPC). Project specifications and QA/QC procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Design and prepare shop drawings (plumbing, firefighting, kitchen, gas piping systems, water desalination, filtration, tanks, firefighting design, and steel structures) with proper coordination across disciplines.
• Conduct research on new mechanical technologies, materials, and processes relevant to oil & gas projects (e.g., piping, rotating equipment, subsea systems).
• Develop conceptual and detailed mechanical designs for: Piping systems (high-pressure, sour service). Rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines). Static equipment (heat exchangers, pressure vessels, storage tanks).
• Perform 3D modeling using SolidWorks and ANSYS, and prepare manufacturing drawings.
• Ensure compliance with international standards (ASME, UL, API, ISO, NACE) and company engineering practices.
• Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations for stress, thermal, and flow analysis.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and propose design improvements.
