Responsibilities:

• Designed and developed grading works, roads, retaining walls, and infrastructure networks.
• Modeled infrastructure elements using Civil 3D and InfraWorks/Infrawizard.
• Conducted clash detection via Navisworks to create coordinated, clash-free models.
• Designed retaining walls utilizing Prokon.
• Modeled retaining walls, dykes, ponds, channels, softscape, hardscape, trees, and shrubs using Civil 3D.
• Exported coordinated models to Navisworks for multidisciplinary review.
• Coordinated selected projects and followed up on shop drawings with the Cairo back-office team to ensure timely release and technical coherence.
• Collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design criteria were met and effectively implemented.
• Applied quality control measures to enhance design precision and reduce errors in project deliverables.

At the beginning of some projects, before the Project Technical Manager was appointed, I handled technical office responsibilities on site, including:

• Reviewing drawings and specifications and checking discrepancies before construction.
• Managing, coordinating, and submitting shop drawings for approval.
• Preparing quantity takeoff, BOQs, and material plans to support procurement.
• Coordinating with procurement to review suppliers’ and subcontractors’ technical compliance.
• Raising and tracking RFIs to resolve design clarifications.
• Coordinating among architectural, structural, MEP, and landscape disciplines to resolve clashes and conflicts.
• Supporting planning and execution by aligning engineering deliverables with the construction schedule.
• Overseeing BIM and CAD deliverables to ensure models and drawings were updated and coordinated.
• Preparing technical reports, calculations, and engineering documentation.
• Monitoring document control and distributing the latest approved drawings and revisions.
