I 've been a qualified nurse since 2000 and in Management post since 2010. I have been a manager for the Operating Theatre, Emergency Department, In-Patients’ as well as Out-patients.’ Each department I manage, is manned with a separate group of nurses and my task is to co-ordinate and ensure most effective use of resources among the teams, by keeping up the company’s values and ensuring the delivery of patient focused care. My key responsibility is to ensure that the patient experience is of the highest quality inspiring patient and public confidence. I am overseeing ward spending for each of the units and manage the budgets and financial allocations for each area. Offering services to VIP clients is from national and international background, is integrated part of my every day routine. I ensure that all patients are treated with compassion, dignity and respect placing value on the diversity of the local community and beyond. I am working with the ward Sisters to ensure that staffing is appropriate to patient needs by taking into consideration physical needs and cultural background. I believe the points above highlight my abilities as a confident and competent professional and I can effectively perform in a senior management role and I would be happy to apply those skills in a new setting.
