Work and Responsibilities:

· To study the Drawings and ensure all Materials have been covered for Execution of Work.

· Detailed review of received project documentation.

· Initiate and administer the Procurement process throughout all procurement stages from obtaining offers from bidders to delivery of material on site.

· Preparation of RFQ's and forwarding it to relevant suppliers / agents to obtain Quotations.

· Contribute to Procurement & Logistics strategies that support the business.

· Timely Follow with the vendors to obtain the quotation/material submissions

· Negotiations with external vendors to secure advantageous terms

· Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the Company

· Contribute to value engineering process where required.

· Review and recommend cost saving methods as applicable.

· Follow up with commercial/procurement team to ensure the orders are released as planned.

· Preparation of Material Progress report/other reports to monitor the Status of the materials.

· Support and contribute details / reports to Commercial team for updates for cost to complete exercises.

· Develop & contribute to Vendor list for Project procurement.

· To ensure timely delivery of Materials & systems to support site installation works as per Approved work program.

· To discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships

· Attending weekly meetings with clients as required by Management

· Coordination with Logistic & Stores, in order to ensure the material is delivered & stored in Accordance with project QA/QC procedures

• Making Factory visits for Long Lead Items & ensuring the Capability & Ability of Manufacturer, to finish the Work in provided Time

• Attending weekly meetings with clients as required by Management
• Monitor and update Department Risk & Opportunity Register for monthly submission
• Coordination with Logistic & Stores, in order to ensure the material is delivered & stored in Accordance with project QA/QC procedures
• To Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment

• Procurement of all kind of Materials (Civil & Architectural)
• Finalization of Sub Contractors for execution of civil & finishing works
• Preparation of Main Material List from project B.O.Q & Drawings
• Preparation of RFQ's and forwarding it to relevant suppliers / agents to obtain Quotations
• Preparation of Cost Comparison sheets between contractual prices & IFC prices
• Negotiating with vendors on commercial as well as technical basis
• Reviewing the Submittals from the Suppliers and giving the feedback to the higher management
• Coordination with Technical & ID Finishes team prior to submission of Material
• Coordination with Suppliers/Manufacturer, to close comments issued for Materials by Clients/Consultant
• Preparing the P.O
• Through ERP after the PR raised & approved from site
• Preparation of Material Progress report to monitor the Status of the materials
• Creating different reports as required by Management
• To ensure timely delivery of Materials & systems to support site installation works as per Approved work program
• To study the Drawings, to ensure all Materials have been covered for Execution of Work
• Making Factory visits for Long Lead Items to ensure the Capability & Ability of Manufacturer, to finish the Work in provided Time
• Coordination with Logistic & Stores, to arrange Material at Site
• Developing and maintaining good relationship with suppliers and subcontractors
