· Surveillance, investigation and reporting of the health acquired infections.

· Audit the implementation of practice based on infection prevention and control guidelines.

· Audit waste management system, procedure and policy to ensure its effectiveness and safety.

· Educate staff, patients, relatives and community on infection prevention and control needs.

Ensure isolation precautions are implemented and maintained by responsible healthcare worker.

• Teaching two courses; Epidemiology and Research Methodology, with “Postgraduate Nursing Programs by SCFHS”

· Patients education in primary care clinics: (Chronic diseases, Antenatal and General Pediatric clinics )

· Comprehensive preparations for awareness days

· Creating and Updating clinics’ manuals

· Production, assessment and improvement of educational materials
