  • Working as Project Manager, for Sulfur Recovery Unit for Riyadh Refinery (BI-10-01081), for the EPMC scope

In this project, as a PM, I am leading a complete team of engineering, planners, estimators, PMC staff at site to deliver the Issued For Construction “IFC” package to the Construction contractor, by validating the implementation of vendor data, Saudi Aramco Standards, for the revamp scope of existing SRU plant in the refinery. In addition to the engineering package, issuing the +/-10% estimate along with EPC schedule is also project scope.

  • Worked as Project Manager, for Residue Upgrade RASTANURA Refinery Project FEL-2 DBSP & FEED (FEL-3) Phase, worth 3.2 billion USD, Mega project in Downstream business for Saudi Aramco.

During FEL-3 FEED):

  • Looking after a team for 5 project engineers, responsible for 40 Subcontracts include third party Studies / Site contracts, consultancy agreements and Best practice workshops worth 60 Million SAR.
  • Responsible for Design Package submission to Client System. Coordinate comments, resolution meetings and closure.
  • Responsible for single point of contact for Change Management for TIC impacts / Engineering deliverables / other cost and scheduler impacts.
  • Prepared Capital Management Deliverables as per Saudi Aramco RAPID matrix guidelines.
  • Lead & Implemented digital innovative idea for PM productivity and came up a digital tool “PRIMA”, which has 22 modules.

During FEL-2 (DBSP):

  • Looked after the Licensor Package development for Hydrogen Manufacturing Unit & Kerosene Treating Unit, Conducted Multiple review, PHA, P&ID review, Client Review and finalized Basic Engineering Design Package “BEDP”.
  • Lead the client review for overall project and manage to close more than 3400 comment, for the overall scope, during the DBSP stage.
  • Supported the management team with developing the execution strategy for HMU with multiple office, GID / Houston / Hauge.

Duties and Responsibilities as Area Manager at Abqaiq Restoration Project (Sep 2019)

  • I was assigned as Area Manager for the 9 SPHERIODs damaged during the attach on Abqaiq Oil process facility.
  • Produced over 26 Construction Work Packages including Design drawings, Scope of Works, Material requisition, material takeoffs, for multiple disciplines for the temporary & permanent restoration work related to Piping, Tanks, Electrical, Instrumentation, Cabling, Pipe Rack & Road works.
  • Managed two major General Engineering Services+ Contractors, Jacobs ZATE & SLFE (SNC-LAVALIN)
  • Received appreciation from Saudi Aramco for the valuable contribution to the restoration work.

Duties and Responsibilities as Portfolio Manager for SMC business line (July 2013 – June 2018):

  • Project Manager of Medium and Small capped project for Saudi Aramco (BI-19 & EWO). Handled about 70,000 hours (18 Million SAR revenue approx.) per annum.
  • Managed 7 project engineers to run individual projects and dedicated engineering team for about 40 personals.
  • Reviewed invoices status and held meetings to resolve pending invoices to improve liquidity.
