Hello my name is Alistair i have been a mechanic since i was 16. Early years worked mostly with light vehicles up until about 20 years ago when i started working on Trucks and earthmoving equipment. About 11.5 years ago i started work at the Salisbury council the first year under contract and the rest full time employment. In this time i have and still do work on trucks,earthmoving equipment,and small plant.I have run the workshop from time to time with 2 mechanics on the floor doing everything from,organising work,ordering parts and the general running of the shop. I am Applying for this Position as a change from mechanics having done this for 40 odd years. I have always had an interest in driving . Thankyou for considering my application
