Implementing policies related to recording accounts and financial records and verifying compliance with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), International Accounting Standards (IAS) issued by the International Accounting Standards Board and interpretations issued by the International Financial Reporting Interpretations Committee (IFRIC) ) and accredited by the Saudi Authority for Auditors and Accountants (SOCPA) and related systems
Prepare reconciliation entries in accordance with supporting documents and ensure linkage and routing within the appropriate accounting item in the chart of accounts
Prepare asset, liability and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information
Monitor cash flows for account statements according to priority
Document financial transactions by entering transaction and account information
Balancing what was recorded at the end of each month and making reconciliations with auxiliary records and the financial system
Recording financial and accounting receivables in accordance with approved laws and regulations
Preparing financial reports that help in making decisions
Communicate with internal and external auditors upon request and participate in audit programs by submitting the required documents, information and resources in coordination with the Department Manager
Preparing the trial balance and ensuring that the accounts are balanced
Summarizes the current financial situation by gathering information, preparing the balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports
Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
Secures financial information by completing database backups
Maintains financial security by following internal controls
Preparing draft financial reports (including disclosures) in accordance with the requirements of approved accounting policies
Matching the balances of auxiliary and subsidiary accounting books and records with the general ledger balances
Archiving financial and accounting supporting documents in accordance with company policy
Submitting reports requested by management to senior departments according to work plans
Preparing zakat and tax returns according to the regulations issued by the Zakat, Taxes and Customs Authority
Perform additional job-related tasks when delegated or directed by the employee
