ENDOSCOPY/DAY CARE UNIT/ ONCOLOGY CHARGE NURSE

• Undertake the management of the unit on a day-to-day in the absence of or in conjunction with the clinical nurse manager.
• Provide clinical leadership and support colleagues to plan, monitor and evaluate skilled and appropriate care for the daycare patient and ensure provision of evidence based care.
• Working as a part of a team supporting and developing colleagues by mentoring and assessing skills.
• Act as a role model in providing specialist knowledge within day care service.

Endoscopy Unit

• actively participate with medical staff with procedure within Endoscopy section.
• Assess implement and evaluate nursing care for patients attending the Endoscopy service.

Day Care Unit

• Providing holistic care in a day service for all age groups requiring treatment , investigations assessment, implementation and evaluation of care admission for various surgical, medical, hematology and oncology conditions.

Oncology Unit

• Actively participate with medical staff with procedure within the Daycare Oncology Service.
• Assess implement and evaluate nursing care for patients attending the Daycare Oncology Service.
