In my previous role as an Early Childhood Educator at Golden Grove World of Learning, I gained extensive experience working with young children in a nurturing and educational environment. I was responsible for creating and implementing age-appropriate learning activities, fostering social and emotional development, and ensuring the safety and well-being of the children in my care. This role allowed me to develop strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to connect with children on an individual level, tailoring my approach to meet their unique needs. Currently, I am employed as an Administrative Assistant at Lives Lived Well, a child and family mental health care service. In this position, I support the clinical team by managing appointments, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating communication between families and healthcare providers. I also assist with the intake of clients, ensuring a smooth and welcoming process for new families. Additionally, I attend and support cultural events, which has allowed me to engage with the community and promote inclusivity. My role requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism. Through this experience, I have gained a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by children and families dealing with mental health issues, and I am committed to providing compassionate and efficient support to those in need.
