l Proposed new facilities under this project are being built to ensure support of the strategic research domains of the SAUDI ARAMCO Exploration and Petroleum Engineering Center (EXPEC) by expanding its facility in Dhahran to enhance research and technology within SAUDI ARAMCO.
l The scope is based on the total area required to construct a consolidated laboratory facility to support EXPEC ARC operations as planned through 2020. the laboratory facility will support a staff of 820 personnel and a total of 850 seats within an area of approximately 54,798 square meters (SM) and a secured connecting tunnel link between the proposed EXPEC ARC Laboratory Facility and the Core area of approximately 1,410 SM. proposed Laboratory building will be stand-alone facility. there will be no operating interfaces. Final building sizes will be developed during detailed design when all building systems are finalized.
