• Assist in the Preparation of detailed operational plan to enforce the implementation of environmental performance evaluation based on international standards.
• Assist and execute the environmental studies including Environmental Impact Assessment.
• Assist in the benchmarking of key performance indicators with global standards.
• Assist in the Evaluation of the facilities commitment level with environmental international standard and required Technical Expertise
• Participate in the environmental survey activities to collect the data and verify compliance.

Client: NEOM

Project Scope: Construction of NEOM Oxagon Projects

(Oxagon will be the world's most advanced industrial port integrating Industry 4.0 concept, located on the Red Sea coast).

• Conduct NEOM Safety Management System inspections and audits for all NEOM Oxagon region as part of the Public Safety Sector (Enforcement & Governing Safety Authority in NEOM).
• Prepare the Audit & Inspection reports in the Enablon system and ensures audit conclusions are based on a complete understanding of the process, circumstances, and risk.
• Liaise and follow-up with key stakeholders including HSEQ & Projects to facilitate the closure of audit & inspection observations and maximize engagement with assurance.
• Maintain a database for the Life safety & Significant observations & audit findings, Stop-Work & Improvement notices to track for the open issues and analyze the tends.
• Support Public Safety Leadership to develop Audit programs and procedures, sector goals and objectives based on risks, trends, surveys, incident & observation analysis, and benchmarking data.
• Participate in the weekly meetings to present the progress of key functions on weekly basis.

Client: Qatar Fertiliser Company

Project Scope: Operation and maintenance of QAFCO Ammonia & Urea Units. QAFCO is World's largest single-site producer of ammonia & urea.

• Lead and deliver the Safety and Environment Agenda of all projects at QAFCO Units.
• Reporting the HSE performance of all projects to corporate office, executive director and leadership committee during weekly and monthly meetings.
• Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety, Environment, Quality, Responsible Care Management Systems and Product Stewardship requirements.
• Participating in client HSE meetings and act as a bridge between the execution team and corporate office.
• Develop and update the HSE plans and procedures on corporate level.
• Represent as Management Representative in the 3rd party and certification audits and client audits.
• Conduct periodic internal audits of HSE management systems and Permit to work / Energy isolation, Work at height and industrial hygiene audits.

Project Scope: Operation of Chemical Manufacturing Facilities located in Sharjah & Umm Al Quwain, UAE.

• Assisting the HSE manager to drive the safety & environmental agenda at the chemical plants.
• Establishing and updating of OH & S documents (OH&S Policy, Manuals, procedures etc.)
• Reviewing and implementation of specific HSE Plan and procedures and enhancement of its effectiveness by adopting the best industrial practices.
• Coordinate with HSE & Operations team for periodic inspection and smooth operation of plant fire safety systems including deluge-based water sprinkling system, CO2 extinguishing system and other fire & emergency equipment along with the routine inspection of all fire-fighting systems.
• Develop and establish emergency procedures and evacuation plans and ensure all personnel are aware of the procedures, plans and emergency assembly points.
• Strengthening the PTW (Permit to Work) system and implementation of new permits (i.e. Work at Height, Electrical, Confined Space and Excavation work permit).
• Supervised and coordinated with accredited laboratories for monitoring of environmental parameters Continuous Ambient Air Quality Monitoring (NOx, SOx, H2S, CO, PM10 and PM2.5) and & Noise Assessment.

Project Scope: Operation of Fabric Manufacturing Plant and Co-Generation Power Plant

• Manage an effective and continuous environmental, health and safety system that ensures compliance with international standards including (OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, 5S & ZDHC, Higg Index, OEKO-TEX, GOTS/OCS).
• Lead the site EHS efforts on daily basis by reporting the non-conformances and develop the corrective action plans to resolve them based on root cause analysis.
• Leading the Chemical Management System incorporating all the requirements of customers as well as ZDHC, clean chain.
• Execution of Environmental monitoring programs to ensure NEQS and customer's compliance as well as implementation of ZDHC waste water analysis.
• Documenting HSE performance measurement through proactive and reactive KPIs in monthly progress report.
• Custodian of all the environmental performance reporting and Green House Gas Emission system and ensuring the compliance with statutory requirements.
• Coordinated with consultants for development of environmental management plan (EMP), environmental impact and initial assessment (EIA, IEE).

Project Scope: Operation of Coal Fired Power Plant

• Ensure the smooth operation of plant fire safety systems including deluge based water sprinkling system, CO2 extinguishing system and other fire & emergency equipment along with the routine inspection of all fire-fighting systems.
• Strengthen the PTW (Permit to Work) system and implementation of new permits (i.e. Work at Height, Electrical, Confined Space and Excavation work permit).
• Achieve environmental compliance against NEQs and ensure testing of all effluent & stack analysis internally/externally as per set frequency.
• Conduct the HSE line walk on daily basis to report the non-conformances and develop the corrective action plans to resolve them based on root cause analysis.

Project Scope: Operation of Paper Manufacturing Facility

• Responsible for assisting HSE manager in coordinating and overseeing implementation of all Health, Safety and Environmental policy and processes.
• Carrying out daily safety inspections to identify unsafe working conditions, unsafe practices. Encourage near miss and incident reporting to identify and rectify unsafe trends.
• Supervised the regular inspection and testing of all firefighting, safety and emergency response equipment including fixed and portable extinguishing systems.
• Developed safety training plans and programs. Prepared training materials and delivered courses to employees at different levels. Provided technical expertise on various HSE programs for sites.
• Monitored implementation of PTW and JSA/Risk Assessment during jobs and conducting safety audit & work permit audit.
• Conduct safety induction for visitors and maintaining the records.
