My duties included:

• Establish a laboratory, optimising operational capabilities and efficiency.
• Manage comprehensive laboratory operations, including finance, administration, and inter-departmental collaboration.
• Oversee daily lab activities and task management to ensure seamless productivity.
• Develop and implement strategic goals, objectives, policies, and procedures for testing and reporting.
• Execute comprehensive health flock monitoring systems for breeders and broilers, enhancing overall flock health.
• Designed and delivered targeted training programs for lab staff.
• Create and implement effective vaccination programs and biosecurity protocols.
• Assist in diagnosing and addressing flock health field issues, developing tailored solutions for performance improvement.

In May 2024, I participated in the BioChek IBD Ring Trial. Our lab successfully met the criteria for accuracy and precision, and we received a certificate of achievement for the BioChek IBD Ring Trial 2024.

• August 2007-2013: Selected as a Research Assistant at the Avian Pathology and Diagnosis Department, specializing in poultry disease diagnosis.

• 2013-2022: Served as a Veterinary Researcher in Avian Pathology and Diagnosis, focusing on postmortem examinations, specimen collection, isolation and identification of pathogens, including viruses, bacteria, and mycoplasma, diagnosis by real-time PCR and serological examinations and immune response monitoring after vaccination. In addition to my duties, I conducted research during my fieldwork.

I provided technical assistance to several commercial poultry companies in Sudan as a consultant.

• 2019-2022: Held the position of Quality Officer at CVRL, spearheading the implementation of ISO 17025 and establishing a comprehensive Quality Management System.
