RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead drilling operations in strict compliance with company safety protocols and operational standards.
• Consistently achieved zero LTI while delivering wells on or ahead of schedule.
• Expertly operate and control rotary drilling rigs, top drive systems, and drawworks to ensure safe, efficient drilling operations.
• Monitor rig systems and adjust drilling parameters in response to formation behavior and wellbore conditions.
• Train and mentor crew members, enhancing overall competency, safety awareness, and operational readiness.
• Execute the drilling program with a focus on optimizing performance, maintaining alignment with depth targets, formation evaluation requirements, and casing points.
• Act as the first line of response during emergency situations, such as gas kicks, stuck pipe, or equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain continuous oversight of wellbore conditions using surface data systems and kick detection tools.
• Respond promptly to abnormal pressure changes, supporting blowout prevention (BOP) operations as needed.
• Conduct routine inspections, and perform preventive maintenance on all critical drilling equipment and components.
• Accurately log drilling parameters, safety incidents, and maintenance records using digital reporting tools and rig management software.
