Maintenance Department

• Leading High Voltage system switching and isolation.

• Participate in plant shutdown and Turn around.

• Troubleshooting plant problems and failures.

• Attending day-to-day activities and meetings.

• Developing Standard Maintenance Procedure and checklist.

• Writing Scope of Work (SOW) and reviewing maintenance contracts.

• Technical evaluation of contractors offers.

• Developing electrical switching procedure for the new installations.

• Participate in SABIC ATC workshops and provide required support for members.

• Quality management System (QMS) focal point.

• Department budget champion. Preparing and monitoring maintenance budget.

New 230 KV Substation Project

• Reviewing engineering documents and design.

• Reviewing Etap model and power system analysis such as protection coordination study, short circuit analysis.

• Technical evaluation of vendors’ proposals and offers.

• Attending projects walk down inspections.

• Coordination with project stakeholders.

• Leading testing & commissioning activities of different systems and equipment.

• Developing new 230 kV energizing procedure and checklist.

SF5 Urea Stand Alon Project

• Attending pre commissioning activities and site acceptance tests of the equipment ( GIS, Transformers, relays, Motors)

• Ensuring all safety aspects and readiness of systems during the commissioning.

• Leading major systems energizing and commissioning tasks.

• Guiding and coaching team members on the technical subjects .

• Preparing and writing switching procedures.

• Coordinating with the contractor and ensuring quality closure of the deficiency and punch points.

• Supervising the execution of the projects.

• Coordination with different parties concerned to the project.

• Ensuring the compliance of the standards in the works.

• Monitoring and reviewing projects progress, schedule and cost.

• Ensuring the complying of the company requirements and specifications.

• Ensuring the implementation of safety standards in the projects .
