2022, Golden Grove Highschool- Discovery Centre observations 

·  Observed classroom dynamics and built rapport with students, encouraging a supportive learning environment.

·  Conducted 1-1 therapy sessions, focussing on building rapport and tracking progress toward individualised learning goals.

·  Took detailed post-session notes, identifying outcomes, strengths of the session and net action steps to inform ongoing therapy.

·  Created a resource pack for teachers to support autistic students, including accommodations in the classroom, visual supports, neurodivergent language, strength-based language and additional strategies.

·  Planned, prepared and delivered sessions, documenting progress and observations through comprehensive notes.

·  Completed informal assessments (e.g., sensory profile reports, letters of recommendation) and formal assessments (e.g., Vineland Adaptive Behaviour Scale).

·  Collaborated with key stakeholders in the client’s lives including family members, psychologists, support coordinators, team leaders and support workers to ensure there was a cohesive approach in the supports being provided.


2024, The Lotus Project- PBS placement

·  Gathered and analysed data (ABC charts, incident reports) to identify and focus on a target behaviour.

·  Collected additional data using tools such as the Overt Behaviour Scale (OBS) and questions about behaviour functions (QBAF) to inform intervention strategies.

·  Met with key stakeholders including the client’s parents and key support worker to discuss progress and strategies that are already in place which helps the client.

·  Completed a behaviour support plan, including a risk management plan and functional behaviour assessment.
