Eng. Saad is a biomedical engineer with demonstrated more than 25 years of experience in service delivery, customer, and product support. He spent the vast majority of his career as a service, technical support, and project engineer for medical equipment in the general and clinical laboratory and pharmacy equipment in particular
He enforced his career with a certificate in management, finance, and marketing from the American University in Cairo, AUC
Now he is preparing for PMP from PMI and CHTM from AAMI
At Areen BMC he led a team for a great achievement in King Faisal Medical Complex, Taif, Saudi Arabia set up and install RoboPharma RP20 outpatient pharmacy automation system
As a chief biomedical engineer at King Fahad Medical City, Riyadh, KSA for about 7 years, he had gained the financial knowledge and leadership skills that qualify him to identify, build, and lead teams from different cultures, with different backgrounds, have different professions, and of different sizes. He has the ability to forecast equipment services needed including labor and parts.
He has already led teams of up to 50 individuals while working as a biomedical project manager in KFMC and as a project manager in CASBEC, a governmental consulting center affiliated with the Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University, Egypt.
During work in KFMC, he gained many skills especially in quality and regulatory affairs, supply chain, equipment planning, testing and commissioning, acceptance, installation, integration, and training. Those skills are essential in facilitating dealing with private and governmental parties.
He dealt deeply with most local government and international agencies for medical equipment and participated in KFMC HTM department accreditation and re-accreditation from ECRI as the 5th internationally accredited HTM department. Also, KFMC accreditation and re-accreditation from JCI, CAP, and CBAHI.
He participated in "First Medical devices Standards Workshop from writing to implementation" organized by SFDA and GCC Standardization Training Center in September 2015.
He had been invited and participated in the Public Private Partnership (PPP) Forum in the Healthcare Sector organized by Saudi Health Council (SHC) from 29 to 30 November 2016 and participated as speaker in the second SFDA conference in 2018
He was a technical and procurement engineer in many projects such as BMT, Genomics, and GPPRR projects to replace biochemistry and hematology automation tracks with Abbott and Sysmex systems in a full-loaded working laboratory in KFMC without affecting the patient service delivery. Also, GPPRR project for blood gases analyzers and many other projects.
At CASBEC, he was responsible for more than 9 accounts. In addition, he worked as a lecturer in clinical laboratory equipment application and maintenance.
He participated as a technical support engineer in medical convoys to Ethiopia and Sudan through Egyptian MOH
