Summary

To secure a Supervisor position that provides a future of challenge and diversity within the chosen field of Child Protection. To be able develop my knowledge, skills and professional identity within the role of a Supervisor and lead a team of social workers within the Department for Child Protection.

Have had experience in a range of different positions including retail, hospitality, sales and human services. Have developed a range of different skills, knowledge and is capable of adapting to different positions requirements through experience in different roles. Social work graduate with experience in Education, Health and Child Protection areas. Experience working in both Intake and Guardianship Child Protection in a number of roles from Access Worker, Social Worker and Senior Practitioner.

  • My Role as a Supervisor within the Department for Child Protection is to provide leadership, development and performance within the working team
  • As the supervisor I help support workers work within the Legislation, policies and procedures to support daily operations
  • I provide supervision, consultation, advice and training to improve service delivery and enhance workers personal development in the social work field
  • To further develop my skills I have spent time in both Central and Northern regions of Adelaide and have predominantly worked in the Guardianship space, which has led to have a high skill set around case management of complex young people with trauma, disability, health and high risk behaviour
