As a current Specialist Communications for BHP I have helped manage numerous projects and effectively built genuine relationships with key stakeholders. I was passionately involved in our Kokatha artwork PPE project, working successfully with the Kokatha Aboriginal Corporation to share stories of our Traditional Owners to the Carrapateena workforce where we will soon be showcasing these on our PPE at site, and have worked on many communication pieces which have been shared on our Copper SA social pages.
My 4yrs+ experience as an Associate Social Media Manager for a global online cycling platform, means I have extensive experience in social media strategies and working on brand campaigns throughout the whole course of the project.
My management skills, creativity, diligent work ethic within the Carrapateena Social Performance team and Copper SA Communications team, and extensive experience in delivering successful events and projects means that I am the perfect fit for this role.
In 2022 I took on the role as Assistance Race Director of the Tour Down Under, where I was part of the race direction team that instigated the first Women's World Tour Stage Race in the Southern Hemisphere, the highest level a cycling race can achieve. Part of this role involved race design, working with councils, emergency services, sponsors, volunteers and other stakeholders in delivering an exciting, and most importantly, safe event. The success of this event earned me the Advertiser 2023 Woman of the Year award, in the Rising Star category. I am someone who always strives to be the best by focusing on elevating the entire team to achieve successful outcomes. and it would be a privilege to work on BHP's global candidate engagement strategy.
