Based on my performance, I got promoted to Business Development from Operations which is considered to be as an achievement on my position as Logistics Operations officer.
My Job Role:
Having responsibility of handling all freight forwarding requirements of clients offshore and Onshore:
Air freight Export/Import: Sea Freight Export/Import
Land Transport- Domestic/International
Import customs clearance & delivery from all KSA port by land/Air/sea.
Coordinate with brokers and Transporters for Direct delivery from port, warehouse handling, de-stuffing , delivery to respective sites as per client requirements.
Duty exemption support to customers.
Applying Saber conformity certificate/shipment certificate on behalf of clients.
Applying Saber Exemption certificate for eligible clients.
Docs verification includes HS code, duty percentage, Country of origin, Import customs requirements like Chemical permit/Conformity certificate/DG approval /CITC Approval/MOI approval etc
Job file creation upon order confirmation
Handling operations with different overseas & Domestic agents
Send the pre-alert to clients.
Collecting shipping docs and handover to respective broker for Clearance
Collecting all cost and issue sales Invoice as per approved quote
Follow up for vendor invoice and posting to respective files.
Invoice despatch to clients as per agreed terms
Follow up for payments with updated SOA from Finance
Status Report update to all customers on regular basis.
Receiving New enquiries, Get quote from approved vendors, Quote to customer, Start operation for approved quotes, Follow up with customers for pending order approvals.
I was able to handle on an average of 30-40 clients with 75+ job files per month.
Apart from above, I was handling a Job role of EDP for All KSA IT dept incardination with HQ Germany
