PROJECT: 380 kV Duba Grid Substation – Neom Green Hydrogen Project.

• Assisted in the installation activities of 380 kV GIS equipment and bays. (GE Vernova - 380 kV GIS B Type)
• Ensured timely completion of electrical installation works in the Control Building such as CRP and auxiliary panel, telecom panels, battery charger, and battery bank installations.
• Laying of LV (control and power), MV, and OFC cables for all equipment in the substation.
• Prepared cost estimates for the project based on labor hours, material etc.
• Managed and coordinated with suppliers, contractors, and clients to complete projects within timelines and given budgets.
• Ensured that all installations were compliant with SEC standards.

• PROJECT : NGHP- 1.65GW Wind BOP Cabling Package Works & NGHP- Duba Grid SS Civil Works
• Preparation of the master schedule for laying 33 kV MV cables from wind generators to pooling stations.
• Preparation of Costs and Budgets & conducted site surveys to determine the installation routes and equipment needs for MV Cable Laying.
• Coordinated with the client and the execution team for smooth workflow.
• Trained newly hired technicians on proper installation procedures, and the plants and machinery used for the job.

PROJECT : RWANDA-BURUNDI INTERCONNECTION PROJECT, 22OkV TRANSMISSION SYSTEM & 110 kV Bay Extension in Kigoma Substation and 220 kV Gisagara Substation.(Southern Province, Rwanda)

• Electrical schematic drawings review and data acquisition using the AutoCAD Toolset.
• Erection of switchyard equipment (CT, CVT, LA, DS, ES, CB up to 220 kV level) and gantry structures as per approved drawings and schematics.
• Installation and commissioning of 48V and 110V battery chargers and battery systems, C&R panel, telecom panel, power distribution panels, GIS panels, diesel generator, and auxiliary and power transformers up to 220kV level.
• Erection and commissioning of LV and MV distribution systems.
• Assisted in testing and commissioning activities of 220 kV, 110 kV, and 30 kV indoor and outdoor equipment of substations.
• Laying of LV (control and power), MV, and OFC cables for all equipment in the substation.
• Supervised the construction and commissioning of the earthing main mat and its supporting accessories inside the substation.
• Working and operational knowledge of various ABB and Siemens relays used in substations: RET615 (Transformer Protection Relay), REF620 (Feeder Protection), REF542plus (Feeder Protection), RED620 (Feeder Protection Relay), 7SA87 (Line Distance Relay), 7VK87 (Breaker Failure & Auto Reclosure Relay), and 6MD85 (Bay Control Unit), 7SJ85 (Bay Control Unit).
• Test kits handled on site: OMICRON CT ANALYZER, OMICRON CB ANALYZER, OMICRON CPC-100 with TAN DELTA, OMICRON CMC-256/356.
• Periodic meetings with clients, consultants, and follow-ups on workflows and plans made.
• Preparation of budgets by estimating materials, labor and construction costs.
• Installation of 110 kV Bay Equipment in Kigoma Substation. (Extensions/ Augmentation work in live substation.)
