Performs X-ray for Diagnostic Purposes such as Genaral Xray,Fluoroscopy,Mobile X-Ray,Mammography and Dexa Scan.and

Follow established radiologic requirements and regulations to ensure patient care and safety.

• Verifying patient's identity and and reviewing physicians order before doing the procedure
• Accepts electronic X-ray request which is available thru Cortex And transfer to RIS (Radiology Information System) in order Confirm when the request has been done.Shared sensitive assessment results with patients, offering guidance to clarify prognosis and treatment.
• Maintained working knowledge of ionizing radiation regulations to minimize health risks.
• Reduced exposure to radiation by using beam-restrictive devices and patient shielding techniques.
• Established patient trust and positive rapport while conducting the procedure.

• Performs routine and special radiographic procedures and undertakes trainings as required bythe department

• Ensures proper placement of marker, proper annotation and good contrast.

• Performs portable radiographic procedures according to hospital guidelines and protocol.

• Performs breast imaging with the state of the art of mammography machines

• Maintains production and quality of mammograms by following established standards andprocedures; developing mammograms; observing mammogram results; determining necessary adjustments for optimum results; retaking mammograms as required; forwarding completed studies to radiologist for interpretation.

• Ensures operation of mammography equipment by completing preventive maintenance; instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories.

• Performs Special procedure includes adult and Pediatric IVP, Voiding cystogram , RetrogradeUrethrogram, HSG, Upper GI ( Barium Meal) Esophagogram (Barium Swallow),Barium Enema, ERCP, Retrograde Pyelography,Performs MBS (Modified Barium Swallow) under the direction of a radiologist andspeech- language pathologist.

• Performs routine and fluoroscopic procedures to pediatrics and neonatal under thesupervision of a radiologist and referring physician. efficiency & cleanliness.

• Performs Dexa scans, providing a high standard of patient care and high quality Diagnostic imaging service for the detection of osteoporosis to assist in the management of patients.

• Assisted junior radiographers in training and development, producing high-performing, diligent radiology teams.
