The Operational Development Manager is focused on Field Direct Population (FE/FS/FT and ME/MT). The OD Manager ensures the engagement, coaching, development and motivation of the field-direct population. Depending on the size of field-direct population in a geography, the OD Manager can be scaled to include FE/FS/FT and/or ME/MT across Divisions and/or Functions (PSD,TLM). Also, the OD Manager develops and monitors the adherence to the employees’ personal development and engagement plan (PDEP), in line with training and competency requirements as well as business needs and personal preferences.

• Act as point-of-contact for Field Direct employee questions, discussions and issues.
• Engage line management regularly to communicate field concerns and suggest improvements.
• Engage field Direct Population via presentations and roundtables. Orient new field employees.
• Build individual PDEPs and schedule face time to engage and develop employees.
• Work with OPRM and PSD/TLM to optimize people productivity.
• Monitor work patterns to align with operational needs.
• Monitor field direct attrition and own the @risk process.
• Develop local competency plan with OPRM, SP, and PSD/TLM to build capacity in the business unit.
• Monitor personal competency profiles (PCPs) for employees in scope.
• Prepare and facilitate G11 candidates through GFE and/or TLM control.
• Support Field Direct employees’ development through SLP3, CP, COR, promotions and recognition/reward programs.
• Provide input to succession plans (SLP-1), HV exercise (SLP-4), and local content programs.
• Coordinate with Product Line’ and Function’ training team to provide input on training schedules and feedback on appropriate learning programs.
• Follow up with OPRM and PSD/TLM to accelerate time-to-autonomy (TTA) and training delays.
• Support and promote SWP (Strategic Workforce Plan) at GM, PL or Function level.
• Support and promote sharing of TLM employees across PL/Function.

Responsible for maintaining an accurate workforce plan, focusing on Field Engineers, Field Specialists and Field Operators, for existing and upcoming jobs in the short to tactical term (weekly to 3 months). The Workforce Planner coordinates workforce resources to ensure correct profiles are assigned for each confirmed job in a timely and efficient manner. This person reviews activity forecasts and competency requirements for upcoming activity, and ensures sufficient resources are available to meet the generic job plan/forecast. The Workforce Planner owns the Key of Planning in the GeoUnit and ensure the full implementation, adoption, and effectiveness of the processes to support the business and drive the associated metrics. This person focuses on planning, assigning and deploying PSD Direct staff.

• Track job start/end dates in planning system of record [iDistrict, Job Management and Planning (JMP), FDP] to coordinate scheduling and mobilization of personnel to/from and between rigs and service delivery locations.
• Identify the required competency profile for the job and review employee allocation with PSD Management.
• Assign employees to jobs in the planning system of record (iDistrict, JMP, FDP) and initiates relevant notifications to all involved parties.
• Evaluate local client-specific competency requirements to ensure compliance of allocated workforce matches job requirements.
• Ensure employees are assigned to jobs in accordance with their field employee management plans as much as possible to comply with service delivery and competency development.
• When no field employee management plan is available, work with the HR/OI organization to address employee competency gaps by assigning employees to the right jobs.
• Review workforce availability and work with Workforce Planner for sharing (inward/outward) as required to cover imbalances.
• Coordinate with employees’ management on effective balance of days of rest, vacation, and rig days for field to ensure adherence to the work schedules.
• Control crew size/crew composition for area of responsibility.
• Initiate Workforce-specific risk assessment for high-risk short-term jobs.
• Develop and implement contingencies for job and short term time horizons.
• Works with organization to implement development plans and drive synergy cross BL.

The KSA Technical Expert is responsible for assisting in delivery of safe, efficient, and reliable products and services to our customers. The job consult with operations groups as needed to support the area of expertise and identifies opportunities for continuous improvement of product and service delivery and formally communicate findings. The KSA Technical Expert actively participate in promoting new technology and services offerings. and supports the Business Line in risk management and apply lessons learned to improve job design and execution as related to the area of expertise. This person provides real-time support to operations as required.

• Participate in pre-tour and toolbox meetings with rig crew when on site.
• Promote safety and leadership. Complete formal training sessions on Quality, Health, Safety and Environment and technical subjects as described by the training matrices.
• Pursue solutions to technical equipment problems and write analytical reports.
• Review, evaluate and prepare incentive prospects and bids.
• Help prepare technical and equipment sections of the budget.
• Develop and maintain contact with customers' drilling and technical departments.
• Support implementation of new technologies on the rigs.
• Understand the multidisciplinary aspects of conducting business and be familiar with management disciplines, including Technical Support, Procurement, Finance, Supply Chain, Human Resources and Marketing.
• Assist as required with the development of technical job designs for PLs.
• Assist with identifying areas where new and cost effective techniques can be applied.
• Explore opportunities for value-added products and services.
• Consult with Design/Technical Engineer role as required to optimize the technical design.
• Assist in real-time incident response, recovery, and investigation as related to the area of expertise.
• Assist in evaluating technical viability and overall appraisal of tenders as related to the area of expertise.
• Remain current on new technologies.

The WS Field Engineer - WIS is responsible for maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable PSD to Customers. The WS Field Engineer - WIS identifies opportunities to improve service delivery, implements standard work, and manage, risk during service delivery.

• Lead engineer for jobs including but not limited to:

▪ Unconventional Wells

▪ Slot Cutting

▪ CAT 3 jobs

▪ Active Multilateral Stimulation

▪ New Active CO & Logging method

▪ New pre-intervention operation

▪ Various fishing jobs

• Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time.
• Execute service delivery to the customer.
• Participate in job risk analysis and continual improvement programs.
• Assist the Design/Technical Engineer with implementing technical programs and bids.
• Provide backup to the Job Delivery Lead and PSD Managers in their absence.
• FET coaching and mentoring.

The WS Field Engineer - WIS is responsible for maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable PSD to Customers. The WS Field Engineer - WIS identifies opportunities to improve service delivery, implements standard work, and manage, risk during service delivery.

• Develop customer contacts to promote company products and services.
• Ensure company and regulatory standard compliance by implementing the Compliance Assessment Tool (CAT), self-assessments, and wellsite inspections.
• Lead Service Quality Meetings with customers and improve performance using action plans.
• Pipe Management.

The Field Engineer Trainee is responsible for maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable PSD to Customers. The Field Engineer Trainee identifies opportunities to improve service delivery, implements standard work, and manage, risk during service delivery.

• Participate in HSE and Quality initiatives.
• Wear PPE and observe HSE policies.
• Maintain the required safety training.
