My primary role was to assist in the implementation of the Tornado PE2 servicing to the RSAF Tornado fleet. This was achieved by carry out full systems testing of the Avionic and Electrical systems on the Aircraft which included radar, flight systems, communications and weapon delivery systems. I was also responsible for carrying out fault isolation and rectification where required to ensure we delivered a serviceable asset to the customer.
During my time I was also heavily involved in the flight line activities of flight test. This included pre and post flight servicing's, and see-off and see-in teams and on occasions part of a response team to any pre flight faults that required quick and accurate diagnosis and resolution.
Whilst achieving these activities I was also involved with on the job training with other members of the team to ensure all work was carried out following the required technical orders and correct maintenance standards were safely met.
My duties included the general maintenance of the hotel and the facilities. Responding to guest related issues, able to diagnose and the resolve the issue in a short time frame to ensure the guests enjoyed their stay.
I was the sole point of contact for external companies that were required to carry out any work on the hotel grounds. Ensuring companies had the correct licences and authority to carry out the tasks whilst adhering to Health and safety standards.
I was responsible for ensuring all safety precautions were in place and all health and safety standards were achieved through various risk assessments to provide a safe working enviroment for the hotel staff and a safe enviroment for the guests to stay.
During this time I was employed through Core people to work at my local hospital as a maintenance assistant. My roles were to provide repairs to various items and equipment on the wards, carry out preventative maintenance on fire alarm systems and air ventilation plants. In working for a short period of time I was still able to build on customer and service relationships working closely with the NHS trust and working around many patients and visitors.
I was employed on a busy upgrade program for the RSAF Hercules C-130 aircraft. My roles here included supervising the teams ensuring correct maintenance practices were followed and targets were met. Ensuring the FAA and FAR regulations were followed through various inspections and section audits. I worked closely with various companies with respect to test equipment and procedures communicating with managers at all levels including various CEO's in Saudi Arabia, Canada and USA.

During my time in the RAF I was employed on 14 Squadron at RAF Lossiemouth working on Tornado GR4 on a busy operational flight line. My duties involved aircraft maintenance, ensuring the aircraft were operational ready to carry required operations. Flight servicing's, see-off and see-in procedures and also involved in aircraft movement from hanger environments', to flight line or HAS sites. During my time I was deployed to various locations to carry out aircraft exercises such as Cold lake, Canada, Akrotiri, Cyprus, Al Udeied, Qatar, Hill air base, Utah, Barksdale AFB, Louisiana. During these exercises I was highly involved in keeping the aircraft serviceability rate high in order to carry out the required training duties.
