• Maintain and create process instructions for painting and washing parts such as loading and unloading parts, paint color changes, system operation and maintenance, and any other pertinent documentation.
• Supervises and performs maintenance and cleaning of the paint and wash systems at predetermined intervals including wash system, paint booth, environmental room, wastewater treatment, filter changes and other critical items to maintain.
• Wipe, sand, inspect all parts up to and including preparation of painted parts for paint repair.
• Mix the paint and primers accurately
• Inspect painted parts for flaws
• Apply masking tape to parts and prep work
• Spray the paint and primer into parts
• Inspect parts schedule to be painted
• Clean and wipe down vehicle
