KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB DESCRIPTIONS

  • Serves as Head Nurse/ Charge Nurse in the absence of the Head Nurse in the unit.
  • Provides and ensures that maximum quality care and performance of nursing procedure are delivered effectively by members of the unit and nursing team.
  • Perform a variety of supportive and utilizes a range of equipment. Supplies, medication and other modalities in carrying out specific treatments, monitoring technique and other diagnostic, therapeutic and supportive measures.
  • Initiates and perform a range of nursing measures based on patient needs related to physical and mental comfort, positioning and mobilization, nutrients and hydration, Bowel and bladder elimination, care of the skin and wounds and support of respiration, hygiene, communication and physical and bodily function.
  • Provide safe, therapeutic, personalized physical and psychosocial environment for patient care.
  • Coordinates with the in service and quality management. Supervisors providing ongoing review of practices and procedures in making recommendation.
  • Report and documents insignificant information through established oral and written process.
  • Assist with the maintenance of the nursing philosophies pertinent to assigned unit, actively involved with preparation/ setting implementation, monitoring, reviewing and reporting on the assigned on the unit goals and objective.
