Project: King Fahd International Airport
King Fahd International Airport is located about 20 kilometers (12 miles) northwest of the city center of Dammam. It is the largest airport in the Eastern Province and one of the busiest in Saudi Arabia.
King Fahd International Airport has three passenger terminals: Terminal 1 for international flights, Terminal 2 for domestic flights, and a separate terminal for the arrival of pilgrims performing Hajj and Umrah. King Fahd International Airport has seen expansion and development projects to enhance its capacity and services. These projects are aimed at accommodating the growing number of passengers and ensuring a smooth travel experience.
The project has an ambitious development of the entire Airport Masterplan increasing its current capacity from 18 million to double the size, to meet the challenges of the future. The current tasks in hand are as follows:

Development of the Master Plans
Project: Jewar International Airport
Noida International Airport at Jewar, Uttar Pradesh is being developed by Zürich AG (Zurich Airport) south of Greater Noida with a 4-phase master plan to handle 60 million passengers per annum in the future. The project’s final phase envisions 2 runways and 4 terminals – making it the largest airport in India. The project constitutes two main packages.
Developed an orphanage for M/s Milele Foundation Zanzibar/ Tanzania. The 6000 sq. mts. project constituted residential blocks for orphan for different age groups such as infants, toddlers, boys’ and girls’ along with hostel, school, dining block, prayer hall, laundry block facilities etc. The entire blocks are spaciously planned around landscapes courtyards and open lawns, providing much required comfort and ventilation.
Project: Doha International Airport Expansion of North Node
Hill International is a US based worldwide reputed Project Management Company currently involved in the expansion of Doha International Airport. This 150,000 sq.mts of new development included new lounges, nine aircraft contact gates with MARS configuration, retails etc. and a large central landscape courtyard. In addition, the project also includes a 25,000 sq. mts of Remote Transfer Handling Facility (RTBF), capable of handling about 6000 bags per hour.
Project: Bahrain International Airport Modernization Program
Hill International is a US based worldwide reputed Project Management Company currently involved in the Bahrain International Airport Expansion Program. Completed recently, it is a new state of art 14 million passengers Terminal Building (level of service B), along with Car Parks, Central Utility Complex, Fire Stations and Super Gate. Referred as AMP- Airport Modernization Program, this new expansion is to keep pace with the demands of today’s aviation growth.
Design and Construction activities was undertaken for a 205,000 sq. meters of passenger terminal building with 12 contact gates with MARS configuration capable of handling large body aircrafts along with A-380 contact gates. Central Utility Complex and a Multistory car park structure for 1200 cars, supporting the terminal building was also part of the entire development. Hill International in collaboration with AESG- Dubai had the LEED Version 3 sustainability objectives of the entire expansion as follows:

Project: MC05 Salalah International Airport -Sultanate of Oman
The New Passenger Terminal Building of Salalah is located in the Southern region of Dhofar and is a popular destination with regional and international tourists during the Khareef season (the summer Indian Ocean Monsoon Season). A new “state of the art” airport (passenger terminal, control tower, administrative buildings, ancillary buildings etc.) to handle 2 million passengers per year (2mph), with a gross floor area of 65,000 sq. meters was undertaken.
The passenger terminal comprises of three levels, with four contact gates capable to dock A-380 aircraft. Other salient features include 30 check-in-counters, three baggage belt carrousels, 12 passport counters, and concourse measuring 300mts with boarding lounges overlooking the airside, large duty free and sufficient space for retail and food and beverage. Once completed, Salalah airport will provide
passenger experience, which will rival other airports in the region.
Responsibilities: MC-05 Contract is a Design and Built Contract. Job responsibility includes Architectural Design development of the basic design intent, coordinated with all electro- mechanical services inclusive of structural drawings and interfacing. Other responsibilities include Interior Designing (Passenger terminal building and VIP areas).
Project: New Doha International Airport (NDIA)
Construction of a 600, 000 sq. m passenger terminal complex to cater to 50 million passengers per year. The complex consists of 4 concourses, 41 contact gates, 2 runways (4.8 km and 4.2 km long), the Emiri terminal and an 80 mts tall control tower with associated infrastructure.
