Originally from Fes, Ass. Pr. Dr- Eng. Diana Chekkoury Idrissi was born and grew up in Europe, studied architecture in France and Morocco, and settled in Madinah Saudi Arabia after she was awarded a Ph.D. from the urban institute of Stuttgart University Germany in 2006. Strategic Senior Consultant with 26 years experience in the Architecture, Planning, and development fields, Dr. Diana is an expert in developing goal-oriented proposals with risk management, bringing creative and innovative changes with problem-solving solutions, and leading and supervising strategic and operational teams. Dr. Diana is proficient in MSO, GIS, CAD & BIM*, and is passionate about conducting field-based research, teaching, and initiating nonprofit actions for built heritage, social empowerment, and ecological building and farming.
