• Poster Presentation: Use of Empagliflozin During Pregnancy – A Clinical Case report 3rd Global Meeting on Diabetes and Endocrinology – Dubai, UAE 27-28November 2023.

Presented a case Report of a pregnant patient who was on Empagliflozin 25 mg during early pregnancy. Upon discovering the pregnancy, the medication was stopped due to lack of safety data, and insulin therapy was initiated. The patient was closely followed throughout the pregnancy and delivered a healthy baby.

This case underscores the clinical importance of early medication review in women of childbearing age and adds to the limited literature on SGLT2 e.g Empagliflozin  inhibitor use during pregnancy.
