• Comprehensive patient care as per hospital standard.
• Assist with physician for resuscitation in delivery unit for babies who are under risky conditions of normal deliveries or assisted deliveries eq: extreme preterm me conium aspiration, birth Asphyxia, congenital anomalies etc.
• Ensure high quality specialty care to critical ill and high risk neonates from birth to discharge
• Assisting physician for intubation, umbilical catheterization, intercostals drainage tube Insertion, blood exchange transfusion, survanta administration etc
• Preparation for administration spots and delivery units
• Calculation and preparation of drug dosages, total fluid requirements etc
• Close monitoring of babies for apnea, convulsion etc
• Maintain strict isolation precaution for infected babies
• Transportation of sick infants on mechanical ventilator to other hospitals
