New Technology Introduction
Effective introduction of new technology despite the overlaid challenges. While severing as Head of Network solution, I have led the introduction of 5G network on 3.5 Ghz . Challenges involve customer network readiness, MVIV, UE handling and frequent SW upgrades. Managing a complex situation with numerous stakeholders and , mediate conflicts between customer expectation and Product readiness to reach a consensus is another big challenge. Results were outstanding, we managed accomplishing the largest on-air 5G sites field trial in March 2019 with 200 sites. The network is e2e live and commercial HW & SW including RAN, 5G EPC, ENM (Ericsson Network Management) and UDC. Delivered speeds beyond 1.2 Gbps, which has been the first and fastest speed in the multivendor environment in the region.
Sales Growth New Areas Introduction and Maintaining Farming business:
During My tuner as KAM for stc, we have seen a great growth in our Sales YoY we have grown the account by 35% and maintained that growth in the year after. This was also accompanied by stunning accomplishment in terms of new contracts, securing:
- Biggest Sustainability Solution Globally using Ericsson Unique Energy as service
- Biggest Managed Service SW Contract Globally to Introduce Cognitive SW globally
- Secure Ericsson Presence as Sole Supplier for 5G SA that includes Charging, Data management and Packet Core, this is maybe the only deal globally Ericsson has End to End
Also, we have managed renewing the managed service contract for 3 years, plus maintaining Ericsson as the only supplier for Electromechanical for stc and renewed the Software subscription for 3 years.
Innovation and Use case creation:

While serving as head of network, i have been assigned to lead the innovation within Saudi. This includes leading innovation hub initiative from ideation toward complete establishment. This has included putting all required processes, staffing, Roadmap, partners, and facility. Now innovation hub is being part of the most initiatives that are driven by operator or government.
