• Condition monitoring is a process of monitoring the condition of a machine or system to detect any potential issues or defects that may cause failure or downtime. It usually involves collecting and analyzing data from different sources, such as sensors, to identify any abnormalities or changes in the performance of the equipment. By detecting problems early, condition monitoring helps prevent unplanned downtime, reduce maintenance costs, and improve safety and productivity. It is widely used in various industries, including manufacturing, transportation, energy, and healthcare.

I have carefully dismantled mechanical assemblies to perform precise repairs, testing, and cleaning duties. Additionally, I have maintained mechanical assets to minimize unplanned breakdowns. I have also overseen pumps, compressors, and pipework, and performed thorough daily visual inspections of mechanical assets to maintain workflows. In case of any issues, I have repaired and replaced defective engines, brakes, and suspension, and tested individual components and functions of equipment to detect the root cause of the problem. Furthermore, I have executed planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and repair work on various mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure their smooth functioning.

A mechanical maintenance technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing various mechanical equipment and machinery. This includes performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and conducting repairs as needed.
