Pipeline Project Department (PPD):

• Perform daily job site compliance inspections to evaluate adherence to safe work practices and company HSE requirements.
• Provide HSE advice and consultation to project and division personnel to maintain a safe working environment and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conduct construction site and facility safety inspections to verify compliance with applicable standards, procedures, and project requirements.
• Identify, assess, and evaluate workplace hazards and unsafe practices, recommending effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Review and evaluate contractors' HSE documentation, including Health Implementation Plans (HIP), Contractor Site Safety Plans (CSSP), Job Safety Analyses (JSA), Confined Space Entry Plans (CSEP), and other safety-related documents.
• Verify that emergency drills are conducted according to the approved schedule and ensure emergency equipment is functional and personnel understand emergency response procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments, workplace safety audits, and hazard evaluations to identify potential risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
• Review contracts and project agreements to ensure compliance with corporate HSE standards and contractual safety requirements.
• Participate in HSE meetings with contractors, consultants, and project management to monitor implementation of safety actions and follow up on corrective measures.
• Develop, implement, monitor, and continuously improve Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, and programs.
• Contribute to the review and continual improvement of the Safety Management System (SMS) to strengthen organizational safety performance and promote a proactive safety culture.
• Promote near-miss reporting and lead or participate in incident investigations to identify root causes and implement preventive actions.
• Take immediate action to eliminate or control unsafe conditions, hazardous acts, and environmental risks.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, supervisors, and contractors to proactively identify and manage project risks.
• Monitor employee and contractor compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and permit-to-work requirements.
• Maintain accurate HSE documentation, inspection records, audit reports, incident reports, and safety performance statistics.
• Analyze injury, property damage, and loss data to identify trends, conduct root cause analyses, and develop corrective and preventive action plans.
• Prepare detailed investigation reports, inspection findings, and management recommendations to improve safety performance.
• Support management in achieving project HSE objectives and perform additional duties assigned by supervisors.
• Mitigated risk exposure by conducting thorough compliance assessments.

• Deliver training on safety procedures, equipment, and emergency response

Workplace Inspections:

- Conduct regular safety checks to identify hazards.

Record accidents, near-misses, and unsafe acts and unsafe conditions:

- Investigate incidents to find root causes and recommend actions.

Conduct safety inductions, safety campaigns, and refresher sessions:

- Promote awareness of site-specific risks.

Supporting Risk Assessments:

- Assist in identifying and evaluating risks in work activities.

- Participate in preparing Job Safety Analyses (JSA).
