• Responsible for the delivery of the Airport station package.

• Responsible for the delivery of 400+ bus stop upgrades per year to DDA compliance.

• Successfully delivered a bus stops project worth $15 million in 2022.

• Responsible for scoping, organising surveys, organising designs, obtaining design approvals from the Department of Transport and Councils, and providing materials such as pipes, culverts, sleepers, and shelters.

• Responsible for preparing quotes, invoices, and tracking costs.

• Responsible for overseeing 5 construction crews to ensure compliance with design documentation and DDA requirements.

• Responsible for booking and reviewing traffic management.

• Responsible for weekly meetings with the client (DoT) and providing them with required project information.

• Responsible for reviewing all design documentation to ensure accuracy, suitability for construction, compliance with relevant standards and legislation, and adherence to Miepol's quality processes.

• Effectively liaise with public utilities and other authorities regarding engineering matters.

• Undertake post-construction defect walks with construction crews and clients and recommend areas of improvement.

• Maintain knowledge of policies, current best practices, and challenges in civil engineering design.

• Ensure compliance with all of Miepol’s Quality Design processes and procedures.

• Develop and maintain an excellent relationship between Miepol, the client, and stakeholders.

• Comply with all HSEQ work practices and take reasonable care for the HSEQ of all who may be affected in the workplace and community.

• Implementation of traffic management plans related to urban and rural road networks and city centres, development of policies/ strategies, program plans and operating procedures, facilitating their implementation, design of traffic devices/infrastructure and providing specialist traffic engineering input.
• Implementation of the traffic regulations and practices, state regulations and relevant Australian Standards and current practices for traffic/transport planning.
