Main Responsibilities:

o Elaborate the network architecture blueprint strategic plan and the technology road map (Global trends) which includes identifying technologies to be eliminated from the network and technologies to be adopted.

o Establish a technology strategic planning and road map as how STC shall face the technology renewal of mobile network (Packet Core and Voice Core) in the medium to long term with specific focus on MSS core, Signaling Network "STPs, DRA/DEA, SCP/BSF and SEPP", Interconnection and roaming, IMS core "VoLTE, VoWiFi, VoBB, VoNR" and the UDC/UDM data management.

o Translate medium and long-term architecture blueprint into yearly strategic plans and objectives to facilitate network expansion or migration.

o Prepare the budget forecast for CAPEX and OPEX related to core network projects.

o Manage the alignment with the business units including consumer and enterprise.

o Work closely with customer Performance, Optimization, Planning and Project teams to ensure rollout/expansions/upgrades/swaps/trails are well managed and do not adversely affect core network KPIs

o Propose recommendations (Parameters/Timers/Features) for network performance improvements with specific focus on EPC core

o Follow up/benchmark improvement/degradation as a result of proposed recommendations

o Analysis of key trails and features within the EPC core

o Parameter/timer audits and inconsistency checks to determine fine tuning suggestions

o Perform KPI trend analysis to determine performance deviations of multiple core network elements :

EPC Core: SGSN-MME, EPG S-PGW, PCRF/SAPC

CS Core: MSC, MGW, UDC HLR-FE/HSS-FE/CUDB, STP, DRA

IN: CCN, OCC, SDP, AIR, VS

o Worst performance node identification and root/failure cause analysis

o EPC core network capacity utilization analysis and optimization

o Troubleshooting of EPC and IMS core performance deviations (VoLTE/VoWiFi registration and call , SRVCC, Cx, Sh, Rx, SWx, Gy, Gx, ... etc)

o Assist in planning, designing, and deploying new solutions with specific focus in EPC core network to enhance and improve the customer experience and the overall network KPIs

o Customer experience optimization using traces, CEM probes data and NW KPIs

o Participate in customer meetings by offering technical solutions for service improvements

o Special events preparation and analysis i.g Hajj, Eid,..etc

Main Responsibilities:

o Work closely with customer optimization teams and management for network performance improvement projects

o Analyzing network statistics trend and profile to determine areas of improvement for customer experience and network efficiency.

o Perform KPI trend analysis to determine performance deviations

o Worst performance node identification and root cause analysis

o Parameter/timer audits and inconsistency checks to determine fine tuning suggestion

o Core network capacity utilization analysis and optimization

o Performing Impact analysis for new changes, activities, and incidents.

o Support RAN and operation teams for E2E optimization purposes

o Provide regular reports to improve Network performance (daily, weekly, monthly)

o Alcatel, Ericsson, Huawei and ZTE (2G-3G) Put sites on air, check and maintain sites remotely, TCH availability, boards, transmission links and power problems

o Huawei: i-Manager M200 Mobile Management System software

o Alcatel: OMC-R software & ZTE: Net-Numen

o Trouble tickets tracking, analyzing, and clearing
