• Reviewing of basic engineering documents such as P&ID, Block diagram, ISS Engineering specifications etc. for preparing quotation (Project Bidding).
• Coordinate with Consultant engineers for Completion of design packages, and review of 30%DD, 60% DD, 90% design documents to finalize the IFC packages.
• Design of detailed engineering documents such as, Instrument block diagram, Instrument specification sheets, Cable and conduit plan, Instrument interconnection drawing, Segment drawing, instrument loop diagram, I/O list, Instrument piping details, Cause and effect diagram Interlock list, FSD for instrumentation equipment, Cable and conduit schedule, Rack details, Instrument panel diagrams, IIS, Name plate details etc.
• Preparation of Material list, Material requisition (MR), Material technical approval (MTA) as per level of inspection etc.
• Floating the RFQs amount Aramco approved Manufacturer/Vendor based of RVL list to received valuable proposal for E&I material.
• Identifying potential vendor and providing Pos to the vendor after receiving OPR/NOC from Aramco.
• Prepare contract with includes payments terms, delivery terms, quality terms etc.
• Expediting NMR documents, from the vendors .
• Verification of vendor documents such as Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE), Non-material requisition (NMR) packages along with project and standard requirements
• Preparation of Spare parts Data package submission plan, Spare parts Data package status report etc.
• Coordinating with vendor for preparation of SPDP package and submitting package to Client.
• Coordinating with Aramco material specialist and cataloguing consultant to review and approve SPDP packages
• Resolving interface issues related to instrumentation with other contractors.
• Lead the instrumentation team for onsite installation, calibration and configuration of various instruments such as MOV, GOV, Level transmitters, Temperature transmitters, Pressure transmitters, Level Gauge, Control valves, Flowmeters, etc.
• Witness the FAT for instrument related material like RTU.
• Coordinating with vendor engineers RTU configuration, PLC programming, and SCADA configuration, CCTV configuration etc. and performing SAT.
• Control logic preparation, Loop checking and interlock checking for smooth operation of plant equipment and instruments such as cascade Belt conveyors, shuttle conveyors, pumps, agitators, bag filters, ON-OFF valves, de-super heater valves, control valves, VFDs, Soft starters, DOL & RDOL motors, flow meters, Temperature transmitters, Level transmitters etc.
• Pre-commissioning and Commissioning assistance for the project.
• Provided training for end users about instruments calibration and configuration and PLC/SCADA operation.
• Preparation of As-built documents of all the detail engineering documents.
