Trained as a member of the Marine Group which focuses on collecting and analyzing marine-related samples, as well as conducting Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) reports.

• Collaborated with the National Center for Environmental Compliance to monitor and follow up on EIA reports conducted by the center.
• Served as a member of the organizing committee for (GiKS) second conference and exhibition.
• Analyzed seawater and soil samples in seawater quality laboratory and organic chemistry laboratory to measure key parameters such as TSS, Chlorophyll, Nutrients, and PAH.
• Trained to engage in sustainability projects such as GHG inventories.

Trained in Ras Tanura Refinery (RTR) as part of the environmental team within the Performance Excellence Unit, which focused on environmental compliance.

Office work:

• Evaluated the use of mixing zones as a treated wastewater discharge alternative approach, after the prohibition of well injection.
• Revised and updated Environmental Management System (EMS) related documents for all RTR operations.

On-field work:

• Performed semi-weekly management walkthroughs around RTR plants to ensure environmental compliance.
• Maintained environmental safety by monitoring noise pollution, and air quality during management walkthroughs.
• Conducted a field pilot test for wastewater treatment plant basin covers, which resulted in over 70% emissions removal efficiency.
